Edgar Willsher led a team over to North America in 1868. They played only once in Canada; a ridiculously one-sided draw in Montreal, where the tourists bowled out Canada for 28 and made 310 for 9 in response before the weather caused the game to be abandoned. In the United States they played baseball as well as cricket, the baseball games being played in front of larger crowds.
